These mitts are a perfect weight—substantial enough to feel safe handling a hot cast-iron skillet, but still flexible enough to grip a baking dish handle. The linen fabric has a nice, textured feel that's already softening up after just a few uses.

The tulip pattern is even more delicate in person, and the linen feels substantial enough to protect my hands from a hot cast iron skillet. I've used them for three meals now and they’re already softening up nicely.

I was a little worried the linen might be too thin, but the mitts have just the right amount of padding to feel sturdy while still being easy to move my hands in. The fit is generous enough to grip hot pans comfortably without being bulky.
