I was looking for a simple wooden serving piece for charcuterie, and this plank is the perfect size for a small gathering. The elongated shape really makes it stand out on the table, and the reclaimed wood is smooth without being overly finished.

The reclaimed wood has such a beautiful, rich grain that it instantly became the focal point of my dining table. I used it as a serving board for cheese and crackers, and it held up perfectly without any juices soaking in.

I was a little worried the plank would feel too small for a cheese board, but the elongated shape actually works great for crackers and sliced fruit. The reclaimed wood has a nice, rustic texture that adds character to the table. Just wish the finish was a touch more food-safe for direct contact.
